The pages keep turning even when you are ready for bed.
Finally somebody with fresh ideas and three-dimensional characters.
Quickly became one of my favorite sci-fi series.
For a first work, I think Mr. Stevens hit this one out of the park.
The story is interesting from start to finish, loved it.

First of my Kind is the story of Nathan Myers a Missouri farm boy. Through a chain of events that happens halfway across the galaxy, he finds his way from the seat of his Grandfather's tractor to the command of a starship from a lost super race. Nathan will tell you in his own words about the life and death struggles he encounters on his journey. He will tell you about the humor, peril and pain of his galactic education. Even with the help of an eccentric A.I. and the most unlikely of allies, he still finds it easy to lose his humanity to the horrors and injustice of a galaxy no one could have imagined.

I absolutely did not want the book to end.

Man, what a party. Action packed with well placed humor, I highly recommend.

Just like the first 2 books, I could not put this book down.

The Principal Investigator of the Chaalt people, has covertly enlisted the aid of Nathan Myers and the crew of the Legacy. They desperately need help gaining access to their secret Prule research station. The facility has gone dark, and the automated defenses activated. Even the Chaalt's own advanced warships have not been able to breach the shield dome and disable the cutting edge weaponry that protects the base. Nathan and his crew are in a race against time, because they believe a Prule Hivemind they had once captured, now controls the facility. If the Hivemind is able to assimilate the Chaalt tech, it could escape and endanger the entire galaxy. If it can return to Andromeda, the Prule will reverse engineer the technology and return with the means to prevail in the second invasion of the Milky Way galaxy. Nathan, Justice, and the crew of the Legacy, will do whatever it takes to prevent that outcome or die trying.

This is a fabulous book series. Love the author.

Excellent story. Fast paced constant action. Gritty violence.
I couldn’t put this book down.
I consumed this book and I am hungry for more.

As usual I read the book in one sitting. And as usual it was a great.
This is a 1st class military sci-fi space opera with all the necessary components.
All I can ask is for MORE PLEASE!

This is such a fun series. I cannot recommend it high enough.
This series is, without a doubt, one of the most entertaining I have read.

Justice, the AI of the Legacy, has suggested the best way to obtain accurate data is to pursue the Prule through the gateways, and if possible, make it their final destination. The shooting has started and the confrontation is escalating exponentially.
